The people are friendly & the food is pretty good... I just don't like the fact that they act so stingy with their salsa!! They give you one small cup of salsa and when you request for more they take forever to bring it!!

OMG.. How can you get everything wrong? So I live close to this establishment and when we moved here we were excited that Mexican food was close by. This is not Mexican food. It's not even good food. If you like to drink then I assume this is the place for you because once you are smashed you don't care what it tastes like. The salsa tastes like marinara. Salsa is like the thing that sets apart the greats. The cheese dip is not good at all. I just had the chicken tortilla soup because who can screw that up right ? I mean I needed something quick and they are right here. I should've known something was wrong when it didn't even smell like tortilla soup. In fact I couldn't really smell it . It was the consistency of a sauce and it was dark like a gumbo roux. Had a very strange taste. Not anything like tortilla soup. I nearly gagged. I will say that I've had their guac on a few occasions and it is the only decent item. Like who is cooking this food?!! It's awful.

In the restaurant desert that is Hwy 165 this is a solid spot. Friendly and genuine staff and a complete and reliable Tex Mex menu. Perhaps not a place to go out of your way for, but if it's on the way you won't be disappointed whatsoever.

Overall the experience was good, the environment, the people were great. The food is super tex-mex. Not really a fan, of that style, I am more of traditional Mexican food. I will say that their white cheese dip is great. Other than that I don't go there for Mexican food.

I think my boss was missing TX a bit much so we came here for lunch. All in all it's pretty typical of a Mexican grill - huge menu, chips, salsa, etc...
I will say that the staff is good and friendly and their salsa was really good. Its a solid place for so far north.
